These two days focus on the 2 ASCE engineering standards dealing with utilities\, ASCE 38 and ASCE 75; on FHWA studies on utility problems and solutions on federally funded projects; and on utility coordination and utility investigation scopes of work and deliverables. This course is perfect for Prime Engineers and Project Owners. \nCOST: $950 ($900 before January 15\, 2025) \nFive Day School\, January 27-31\, 2025.  \n2 Day School\, plus Bonus material related to ASCE’s new Project Utility Engineer Board Certification. \nThis five-day effort is curated for Utility Engineers\, Utility Coordinators\, and Subsurface Utility Engineers responsible for utility issues on projects and who may aspire to become a Board-Certified Project Utility Engineer (BC.PUE)\, under development by ASCE to enhance engineering credentialing.  This course will assist in understanding the Geophysics and Tools Necessary for a Comprehensive Utility Investigation. The information contained within will assist you in passing your written test when the certification is up and running. Ariaratnam\, Ph.D.\, PE\, P.Eng.\, BC.PLW\, F.CAE\, NAC\, Dist.M.ASCE\n					Professor and Sunstate Chair of Construction Management & Engineering\, Arizona State University; President of UESI\, 2026 \n					Dr. Ariaratnam has published over 350 technical papers and reports\, co-authored eight textbooks\, and is a co-holder of five patents. He has received recognition from numerous associations including the  North American Society for Trenchless Technology (NASTT) and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE)\, where he received the prestigious John O. Bickel Award\, Arthur M. Wellington Prize\, Pipeline Division Award of Excellence\, and the Stephen D. Bechtel Pipeline Engineering Award.  The Phoenix Business Journal named him to the prestigious “Top Forty under 40” list in 2006.  Dr. Ariaratnam was named as the 2012 Trenchless Technology Person of the Year by Trenchless Technology magazine.  In 2019\, he became only the seventh person to receive the prestigious Gold Medal from the International Society for Trenchless Technology (ISTT)\, its highest honor.
