EATONTOWN, NJ – The Buried Asset Management Institute – International (BAMI-I), the global leader in water infrastructure education, is proud to announce a strategic partnership with the New Jersey Water Environment Association (NJWEA) to deliver its flagship Certification of Training in Asset Management (CTAM) program.
As the most densely populated and water-rich state in the nation, New Jersey faces unique challenges in maintaining its aging underground infrastructure. By hosting the CTAM 100-400 series at the Sheraton Eatontown Hotel, BAMI-I and NJWEA are providing municipal engineers, utility managers, and infrastructure owners with the technical framework required to transition from reactive repairs to proactive, risk-based asset management.
“New Jersey’s economic vibrancy is tied directly to the health of its water resources,” says Wei Sun, Executive Director of BAMI-I. “By bringing the CTAM foundation to NJWEA, we are equipping the state’s professionals with the ‘New Era’ of asset management—focused on risk mitigation, lifecycle value, and standards compliance. This is about protecting public health while ensuring the financial sustainability of our utilities.”
